Try this recipe from the Simple Sexy Food Cookbook:

Coconut Pumpkin Nut Bread

Features coconut, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, walnuts

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole-wheat pastry flour
2 cups dark brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree (plain, not pie filling)
2/3 cup coconut milk, stirred before measuring
1 cup canola oil or other mild vegetable oil
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup (4 to 5 ounces) toasted walnuts
2/3 cup unsweetened, finely grated coconut

1.         Preheat an oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-by-4-inch loaf pans with vegetable oil and dust with flour, shaking out any excess flour. Set aside.
2.         In a mixing bowl of an electric mixer, combine the flours, sugars, pumpkin, coconut milk, oil, baking soda, salt, and spices. Mix on low speed, then raise speed to medium and mix until well blended.
3.         Fold in the walnuts and coconut, then scrape the batter into the prepared pans, being sure to fill the corners. Rap the pans on a counter to release any air bubbles.
4.         Bake for about 1 1/4 hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5.         Remove the pans from oven, set on a cooling rack, and immediately cover each loaf tightly with aluminum foil. Allow the loaves to steam in their own heat for 10 minutes.
6.         Remove foil and let the loaves cool, in the pans, on a cooling rack.

Two 8-by-4-inch loaves

Simple Sexy Kitchen Tip: The addition of whole wheat pastry flour gives this bread a wonderfully sexy, lighter texture! To freeze one of the loaves for later use, let cool completely, then wrap air-tight and freeze for up to 4 months.

Pumpkin is a great aphrodisiac, but you may be debating whether you would want to include the coconut milk in this recipe. Take a look at the following information, then make up your mind…

Sexy Details About Coconut

In an effort to keep it simple and sexy, coconut  milk and unsweetened coconut flakes are a delicious addition to many classic Asian recipes and deserve to be enjoyed from time to time. if it feels a bit naughty to indulge, so much the better  for revving up the erotic engines!

Want more – read on…

The great Moroccan 14th century geographer/traveler, Ibn Battuta, who traveled over 75,000 miles just 60 years after Marco Polo, sang the praises of coconuts, bananas, and mollusks after finding them in abundance in Dhofar, Oman. Referring to the coconut, he wrote: “As for its aphrodisiac quality, its action in this respect is wonderful.”

Coconut is an integral part of many tropical cuisines, including in Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and India. It has been revered for thousands of years both as a food and as a folk medicine to treat a variety of ailments, from irregular or painful menstruation to sexually transmitted infections.

Coconut oil is part of a traditional aromatic mixture used to anoint a bride on the eve of her wedding in some Afro-Caribbean and modern Muslim cultures.

Sexy Nutrients

Contemporary western medicine is divided on the health benefits of coconut and its oil. It is one of the few sources of lauric acid, a key component of human breast milk and formulas used to nourish hospital patients. Research on Pacific island and Asian populations whose diets include lots of coconuts have very low rates of heart disease, on the other hand, their diet is mostly plant-based, and they’re a lot more active than the typical American, so a direct comparison isn’t necessarily reliable.

The medical community in the US regularly advises us to steer clear of products that  include coconut  oil, because  it is a highly saturated fat. Other recent research suggests it’s more likely to raise HDL, the good  cholesterol, and pure coconut milk should not be confused with processed, partially hydrogenated coconut oil used in packaged goods.

And – Let’s Spice Things Up with Some Nutmeg

Nutmeg – Love and Fun Facts

Also known as myristica or nux moschata, nutmeg is another of the old world spices that originated In the Indonesian Spice islands. It has been used for centuries by Hindus, Arabs, Greeks, and Romans to improve sexual drive. In the orient it was especially highly prized among women. Indian texts prescribe nutmeg mixed with honey and a half-boiled egg should be taken an hour before the intercourse to prolong the duration of the sexual act.

A rather unappetizing and decidedly unsexy historical event related to nutmeg occurred in 17th century Denmark. A young man was brought to trial for a form of “witchcraft” in which he taught a friend to seduce a young woman using nutmeg. the process, however, involved eating a whole nutmeg (seed of the nutmeg tree), capturing it after it passed through the digestive system, then grating it into the drink of his beloved, after which she was supposed to become powerless to resist him.

Then there’s the far more appetizing and quite sexy practice in the late 18th  century of English newlyweds enjoying the earlier noted mixture of wine, milk, egg yolk, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg before their nuptials. Hot, steamy, sweet and creamy, with just a hint of spice and a mild kick of alcohol, now that is sexy in any era!

Sexy Nutrients

The active components of nutmeg have many therapeutic applications in traditional medicines, including anti-fungal, anti-depressant, aphrodisiac, digestive, and carminative (preventing gas!) functions.

Fiery Friday with Jenika Snow

It's Fiery Friday again and today's guest is author Jenika Snow. Tuesday, Jenika shared with us an excerpt from her latest release, Adrian's Wrath. Today she's back to answer some questions for us.

Hi Jenika and welcome to Fiery Friday. Let’s get straight to the questions!

Women relate to women and, more often than not, we’re left shaking our heads at men. As a woman, how do you write your male characters in their point of view and make them the hot alpha heroes us romance readers fall in love with?

I personally like a domineering man that can take control of a situation. In my stories I write the type of men I like to read, naturally. I think women like to read about alpha males because there is that allure of being taken care of by a man that can wholly protect and look are you.

Why romance? Do you believe it exists in the real world?

Of course! Romance is everywhere and I believe there is true love out there. I like to read romance because I'm a true romantic at heart.

If you had access to a time machine, what year would you travel to and why?

I'd like to travel to the fifties. I love the whole greaser and poodle skirt era.

Who is you favorite character that you’ve created and why?

I'd have to say Tate Wessen from my Underground series. He is the tortured hero that has a shattered pasts. He isn't your typical hero because he has a penance for being an asshole, but deep down he wants to be a good guy even if his dominating ways can sometimes be off putting.

You wake up one morning and realize you’re suddenly a kid again, but you remember everything about being an adult. What advice would you give yourself?

Don't let what others say shape who you are.

What’s inside the drawer of your nightstand?

Lube and a lifesaver...if you know what mean!

Does size really matter?

Yes and don't let anyone tell you it doesn't...lol

STORY EXCERPT

Turning in her seat, she pushed away all of her worries and beamed up at him. “You took me to the beach.” It wasn’t a question. His smile was lopsided and he reached a hand out and caressed her cheek. Brea couldn’t help but lean into his embrace.
“Come here, Brea.” His words were low and slightly husky and she could see the desire growing on Adrian’s expression. Instantly she became aroused. Nipples tightening to the point of pain, she squirmed in her seat as her panties started to become soaked.
Thankfully his truck allowed for her to scoot over easily. She did, however, have to lift her leg over the gearshift. She was wearing a dress today and her movements caused the material to shift up her thighs. When she lifted her gaze to his she noticed he was staring at the patch of skin that was exposed. He swallowed audibly and then snapped his eyes to hers. His grin was almost sheepish and she couldn’t help but lean into his chest to hide her own smile.
“Brea.” He whispered her name and used his finger to lift her chin. His face was close to hers, so close that if she just craned her neck a little more their mouths would brush together.
“Yes?” God she wanted him to kiss her, desperately. She had never been the one to initiate their physical contact, but maybe that should change? Lifting her hand and cupping his cheek, a heady feeling washed through her when she saw him close his eyes and sigh. She didn’t waste any more time or deny herself any longer. She pressed her lips to his, loving the small growl that he made from the contact. The kiss started off slow and easy, but soon he was taking control. Tongues moving together, the act mimicked the sex she wanted to have with him. As the kiss intensified, she knew she wanted more. Her body positively ached for him, but before it got any more heated, Adrian slowed the kiss and then pulled away. He rested his forehead against hers, breathing heavily with his eyes closed. When he pulled away it was too soon. Brea wanted more.
“I’m sorry.” He ran his hand over his jaw and stared out the windshield. She couldn’t take her eyes off him as the setting sun washed his face in hues of pink and yellow. “I’m trying to go slow but it’s so damn hard.” He cut a glance at her. “I want you too much.”
Her heart stopped. As she licked her lips, Adrian tracked the movement and another groan left him. Adrenaline rushed through her body at the way he was watching her. Hearing him confess how much he wanted her had her arousal accelerating. She knew she wanted more, but when she actually went for it would she freeze and blow everything? She didn’t like keeping things from him, and she had a lot of shit from her past that would most likely have him running in the other direction. Could she be selfish and just let herself enjoy it? Even if it was just for a little while?
Her experience in seducing a man was zilch, but she pictured in her mind what she wanted to do and it seemed easy enough. Moving so close to him that there wasn’t an inch separating their bodies, Brea gathered all her strength and slid her hand on his thigh. The muscles under her palm tensed as she slowly started to move her hand up, closer to where she wanted to go.
“Brea? What are you doing?” He sounded almost pained and she stopped, fearing she wasn’t doing it right.
“I’m sorry. I don’t really know what I’m doing.” She went to move her hand away but he put his on top to stop her retreat. The look in his eyes made her feel a little embarrassed. “I’m not a virgin or anything, I just—” God, it sounded horrible hearing it come out of her mouth. “I’m just not that experienced. I’m sorry.” She felt her face heat, but he didn’t let her slide back to the passenger seat.
“What you’re doing feels so good, Brea. So. Fucking. Good. Come here.” The command was low, but held so much promise and desire that she couldn’t not obey it. When she was pressed against his side again she kept her head low. Heat and desire were still strong inside of her. “Look at me.” Voice pitched low, his breath blew wisps of hair around her cheek. A shiver raced up her spine from that small, almost innocent act.
Finding the courage to look at him after she just divulged that little tidbit and after hearing his desire for her was harder than she thought, but when she was finally able to lift her eyes to his she was shocked by the raw lust reflected in his face.
“You have nothing to be ashamed of.” He took her hand in his and gave it a reassuring squeeze. “You being honest about your experience just makes me want you more.” He leaned in and Brea had to force her eyes to stay open. Just having him be so close, being able to smell his intoxicating cologne had her on the verge of moaning. “There is nothing you can say or do that would make me want you any less.”

ADULT EXCERPT

There she lay, completely naked, her legs slightly spread, and a powerful man’s hot and humid breath sliding over the most intimate part of her. Never had a man’s face been so close to that part of her body. Cameron had found oral sex disgusting—well, when he wasn’t the one receiving it. There she was again, letting that bastard ruin her life. Not now, Cameron. I will not let you take this from me.
Adrian’s eyes dipped down and took her in. If she had thought he looked aroused before, the lust was now pouring off him in waves. One thick finger slipped down her center and she arched her back, a small cry of pleasure escaping her. Could he see how wet she was? How swollen she felt?
“Oh, Brea,” he said on a moan right before he covered her pussy with his scorching mouth. Over and over he dragged his tongue along her slit, moving to her clit and circling the engorged bundle of nerves, before dragging it down to press against the opening of her body. It was an incredible feeling, and despite the slight embarrassment of having a man licking her between her legs, she couldn’t help but feel so very wanted.
“You taste incredible. So sweet, Brea.” She felt him flattening his tongue and running it up and down her cleft. Firm, full lips suctioned onto her clit and sucked, hard. A powerful orgasm was building inside of her, dragging the air from her body. Adrian brought her to the precipice and then slowed before it claimed her.
“Please, don’t stop.” The fact that she was practically begging him had her flushing with embarrassment, but if it got him to take her over the edge she didn’t care.
“Never. I’ll never stop, Brea.” When his mouth latched onto her clit again and he started that wicked rhythmic suctioning, he didn’t stop when her climax neared. Thrashing her head back and forth, she had never felt anything so good. It was when he teased her pussy hole, slowly slipping his thick, long finger into her, that she surrendered to the feeling that washed through her. Stars danced in front of her vision and she heard a long, whimpering noise leave her. Adrian was relentless as he dragged out her pleasure with his skillful mouth. When the sensations became too much, she tried to push him away. Before he pulled his mouth away, he kissed her so softly against her most intimate part before lifting up and staring at her with hungry eyes.
“I want you, Adrian.” In one fluid motion he stood and stepped out of his pants. His boxer briefs followed. It took her a moment to fully comprehend that she was about to let another man into her body. It had been so very long and her nerves were holding on tight.
His body was a masterpiece. The muscles under his tanned and tattooed skin were cut and defined like a marble statue. He was a big man all around, and quite intimidating. His shoulders were wide and moved down to bulging biceps that she knew held immense power. A rippling and cut chest tapered down to narrow hips and that incredible V of muscle that pointed straight to his straining erection.
“When you look at me like that all I can think about is burying my cock in your sweet little body.”
The air left her in a rush as she listened to his highly erotic words. He bent and retrieved a square foil packet from his pocket and slipped the condom on quickly, all the while keeping his gaze on hers. Crawling toward her, he looked like an animal stalking his prey. His tendons and muscles flexed and bunched as he moved with lethal precision. Hands splaying on her inner thighs, he opened her wider and stared down at what was revealed.
“God, Brea,” he said as his pupils dilated in lust. “You have no idea how much I want you.” His gaze cut to hers. “How much I’ve wanted you.” Taking hold of his thick and long penis, he brought it to the entrance of her body. The air sawed in and out of her as she watched the sight.
This was it. She was taking that step forward. Hopefully it wouldn’t fuck everything up.

Book one in The Girls Most Likely to…

Ten years after being voted Most Likely to Succeed, Kelsey Moore is still living in her hometown, still working in her family's flower shop, and too embarrassed to attend her high school reunion. Only the chance to reconnect with her study buddy—and secret crush—Nathan Barrow tempts her to go.

Nathan isn't sure why he came back for the reunion after spending the past decade working abroad. But when he runs into his former lab partner, Kelsey, he's sure glad he did. The chemistry between them is as potent as ever, and when she offers him a weekend of wild, no-strings-attached sex, Nathan knows he'd be a fool to say no.

Nathan can't be tied to one place for long. But the more time they spend together—in and out of bed—the more Kelsey wonders if their reunion could become something more permanent. That is, if Nathan is still interested when he finds out she's been less than honest with him about her life since graduation…

Excerpt:

Oh my God. Kelsey resisted the urge to slide under the table. Could Tess have been any more obvious? She might as well have handed them some condoms and a pair of fuzzy handcuffs.
Not that she couldn’t come up with some ways to put them to good use. But still.
She glanced around the bar. Amazingly, the crowd had gotten even bigger over the past couple of hours, squeezing into the tiny space like clowns in a circus car.
Somehow, she’d missed that over the course of their conversation. It was like they’d been in their own little world, a bubble that shut out everything around them. But now the spell was broken, and the noise and heat and sardinelike atmosphere had come rushing in.
“I don’t even know who seventy-five percent of these people are,” Nathan was saying.
“It’s crazy, isn’t it? I can barely hear myself think,” she shouted back.
“So why don’t we go back to my hotel room?”
That got her attention. Her head snapped toward him so fast she wondered if she was going to give herself whiplash. “Your hotel room?”
He leaned down close to her ear so he could be heard over the noise of the bar. “See, I’m a firm believer in turnabout being fair play. And since you’ve already seen me naked, it’s only fair that you return the favor. Don’t you think?”
“Excuse me?” God, even to her own ears she sounded prim and proper and repressed. Clearing her throat, she tried again. “Did you just say what I think you said?”
He tucked an errant strand of her hair behind her ear. “Just checking to see if you were paying attention.” A wicked smile curved the corners of his mouth.
When had Nathan Barrow turned into such a tease? Back in high school she’d been attracted to his drive and determination and fierce intelligence and, yeah, his teenage good looks. But toss in a dose of sexual innuendo, along with a smoking-hot, grown-up body, and she was a goner.
He was what she wanted. This was what she wanted. Leaning closer, she murmured just loud enough for him to hear, “I always pay off my debts.”

Fiery Friday with Kate Davies

Welcome to another Fiery Friday. Today's guest is author Kate Davies. Kate sat down with me to answer a few questions and tell me about her latest novel, Most Likely to Succeed.

Hi Kate and welcome to Fiery Friday!

We’ll start by letting the readers get to know you. So tell us about yourself.

Hi! Thanks for having me. My name is Kate Davies, and I write sexy contemporary romance. I have a new series coming out starting on Monday, called The Girls Most Likely To. All three novellas are set at a ten year high school reunion.

I would love to say that my life is filled with excitement and intrigue, but in reality, I spend most of my time trying to get all the family schedules to match up. It's a red-letter day when I can manage to get everyone where they need to be on time and with all their sports equipment in hand.

Now for the questions:

What do you feel is critical to developing a novel that will glue the reader’s ebook device in their hands until the last page?
I think having characters you can relate to is vital to that can't-put-it-down reading experience. You can have the most exciting, angsty, remarkable plot ever, but if you don't care about the characters, it won't matter what happens next.

Women relate to women and, more often than not, we’re left shaking our heads at men. As a woman, how do you write your male characters in their point of view and make them the hot alpha heroes us romance readers fall in love with?
I love men who think, talk, and act like men. Does that mean they're all interchangeably macho and domineering? Hell, no. I write alpha heroes, beta heroes, and everything in between. But I also listen to guys, talk to guys, really try to make my heroes behave like guys would. But they're also guys who listen to the heroine, put her first, and always want the best for her.

Why romance? Do you believe it exists in the real world?
Oh, I absolutely believe in real-life romance. I think it's messy and awkward and hard work sometimes, but it's also supportive, passionate, and real. And I write romance because I believe in the happy ending that's also a hopeful beginning.

What is your idea of the perfect hero? Heroine?
I don't know if there's any single perfect hero or heroine. I believe there's a hero or heroine who is perfect for that other person, and it's in finding that person who meshes with you despite the flaws and foibles of being human that makes a relationship work. There are some qualities that I find heroic, though - listening, following through, admitting wrongdoing and setting things right.

If you had access to a time machine, what year would you travel to and why?
Ooh, good question! I'm not picky about the specific year - just send me back to some point before the Globe Theater burned down so I can see an original Shakespeare production!

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world, who would they be and why?
If we're talking about currently-alive people, I'd choose Eric Sheffer Stevens, my favorite actor, as the first. I've gotten the opportunity to interview him over the phone before, and I'd love to talk with him in person. Fascinating conversationalist. Second would be Suzanne Brockmann. I'd love to talk dialogue and characterization with her. And if I really truly had to hold it down to three, the final choice would be Jon Stewart, because I think he's hilarious, and would keep the conversation going if it started to flag.

Who is you favorite character that you’ve created and why?
Man, this is like asking who my favorite child is! Hmm...I guess I'd have to go with Tess, the heroine of Life of the Party. She's just so unaware of her own self-worth, and she's absolutely worth so much! (It could also be due to the fact that I'm working on revisions for that story right now and she's freshest in my mind, LOL)

You wake up one morning and realize you’re suddenly a kid again, but you remember everything about being an adult. What advice would you give yourself?
Don't take life so seriously. Go out and play some more. And eat your vegetables.

Did you have a predetermined plan when you began your writing career and, if so, has that plan changed since your books have been released?
Oh, I was going to be a famous fantasy writer. That's worked out well, don't you think? :) Actually, since switching to the romance genre, I haven't been too caught up in plans. I just want to write books I love, and share them with readers who enjoy them.

Aspiring authors are always eager to hear advice. What would you say to them?
Write, write, write! And then revise, revise, revise. Not every word that you put to paper is brilliant and profound. But every word IS a step to building the writing "muscle" needed to be in this career for the long haul. A gymnast doesn't perform a perfect 10 floor routine the first time on the mat. He or she practices long and hard to get to that place. Writing is the same way. Practice is key.

Tasty Tuesday with M.J. Kane

Welcome to another Tasty Tuesday! Today's guest is author M.J. Kane. Take it away M.J.!

A Heart Not Easily Broken - A First Kiss to Remember

One of the most anticipated scenes in a romance novel is the first kiss. A well written first kiss is a window into the characters relationship…and the prelude to how hot the sext will be. For me, writing engaging dialogue was a piece of cake, a steamy love scene a challenge, and describing the first kiss breathtaking!

When I write, my goal is to tell a love story readers hadn’t read before. So when it came to writing the first kiss, I quite naturally chose to visit it from the hero Brian Young’s POV.

This scene picks after Ebony and Brian have taken a tumble on the boardwalk while rollerblading. Enjoy!

Excerpt:

A dog ran by chasing a Frisbee. The dog’s sudden appearance surprised Ebony who instantly moved her feet. Our skates tangled. Everything moved in slow motion as I started to fall, allowing me to live up to my promise to protect her body.
“Oh, no, Brian, are you okay?”
I lay on my back, closed my eyes, and took a moment to evaluate the situation. I could still feel my toes and fingers. My head was okay, thanks to the helmet.
My butt on the other hand was a problem.
An unexpected weight rested on my chest. I opened my eyes to the most beautiful sight: Ebony on top of me, staring into my eyes. Strange, I hadn’t noticed the light flecks of gold in her brown irises. Her lips were inches away from mine. My first thought was to feign unconsciousness so she’d perform CPR.
“I’m sorry!” She fiddled with the straps of my helmet while I groaned. “That dog ran by…oh, man. Where does it hurt?”
She sat up, straddled me, felt the back of my head, and then ran her fingers over my chest. Since her hand came away free of blood, I assumed I wouldn’t die today. She shifted her weight and ran her hands down my legs. The pain was worth having her hands on me. The feeling ignited my body. It wouldn’t be long before the growing bulge in my pants became visible.
“Why don’t they make butt pads?” I struggled to sit up. “I’m okay.”
Ebony aided me in the movement, genuine worry in her eyes. In the end, we were sitting facing each other.
“Are you sure nothing’s broken?”
“Yeah.” I massaged my neck and rolled my shoulders. I would pay for this in the morning.
Ebony removed her helmet. Her hair was a mess, but it looked good. She reached to release the curly locks from the ponytail holder, allowing them to settle on her shoulders.
Once our eyes met, she bit her lip. Her eyebrows shot up as she stifled a laugh. I smirked, which caused her laughter to burst out and me to join in. We looked like idiots.
Ebony wiped tears from the corners of her eyes. She was beautiful. Unable to resist, I ran my fingers through the free strands of her hair. She didn’t pull away. I indulged, brushing my fingers along her cheek, and tucked the hair behind her ear.
It felt like silk. As my fingers grazed her cheek again, her laughter slowed. Her eyes focused on me with just a hint of a question. Her lips parted, sending what I hoped was a silent invitation.
I was aware of the people veering around us as they rushed by. The sound of the ocean, laughter, and dogs barking were no longer the focus of my attention though. Nothing else mattered. No longer thinking, I did what came naturally. My finger rested beneath her jaw as I leaned in to kiss her.
I pressed my lips lightly against hers, inviting her to return the kiss, silently praying for permission for more. Her body tensed beneath my fingertips, so I stopped my lips from taking what they wanted. But, it was too late; I’d crossed the line.
After a day spent talking, laughing, and getting to know each other, it all came down to this kiss. Ebony didn’t pull away, so I kissed her again.
I was about to give up hope and deal with the consequences when her lips came to life.
For a moment, I thought I imagined it. But then she did it again. The warm slide as her lips pressed harder against mine.
I didn’t hesitate. I opened my mouth wider, slipping the tip of my tongue in and tasted…strawberries. Her hand came up and slid into the hair at the nape of my neck. If it were up to me, the kiss would never end. But this was neither the time nor place to explore the softness of her lips.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

M.J. Kane stumbled into writing. An avid reader, this stay at home mom never lost the overactive imagination of an only child. As an adult she made up stories, though never shared them, to keep herself entertained. It wasn’t until surviving a traumatic medical incident in 2006 that she found a reason to let the characters inhabiting her imagination free.  Upon the suggestion of her husband, she commandeered his laptop and allowed the characters to take life. It was that, or look over her shoulder for men caring a purple strait jacket. And the rest, as they say, is history.

No longer a television addict, if M.J. isn’t reading a book by one of her favorite authors, she’s battling with her creative muse to balance writing and being a wife and mother. She resides in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with her high school sweetheart, four wonderful children, and two pit bulls. MJ can often be found hanging out at the local library where she is director of a local writer’s group, or online connecting with readers and other authors. Other activities she enjoys include: creating custom floral arrangements, assisting her children in their creative pursuits of music and art, and supporting her husband’s music production business, 3D Sounds.

MJ’s debut novel, A Heart Not Easily Broken, Book one of the Butterfly Memoirs, became an instant Amazon Bestseller in Multicultural Romance and African-American Literature and Fiction within hours of publication. It has also spent time on the African-American Women’s Fiction and African-American Romance Bestsellers lists.
